Our shop has developed over the years starting as a ‘hole in the wall’ through which apples and pears were sold on the roadside to today’s thriving farm shop stocking a wide range of foods and gifts. We also stock cheeses, locally baked cakes and bread, biscuits, pies, preserves, our own fruit juices, honey, smoked fish, cards and presents. We support local farmers and British manufacturers. The shop is lively and interesting and as far removed from a supermarket as it is possible to be so if you care about food miles you will enjoy shopping with us.
Fruit from our orchard:-
Several plum varieties, apples and the first pears now in season
Also lots of local produce, including tomatoes, watercress,
leeks, potatoes, cauliflowers, cabbages, runner beans
For details of the crops you can pick yourself in season, between Spring and Autumn, go to our Pick Your Own page.
